Here is a link to a good article about how to engage with new members.  While I do not believe you need to use the software mentioned in this article, the general ideas a good ones to use.  We are all about to embark on our first meetings of the year, and encouraging those visitors to our branch meetings to join us is important for the health and well-being of our branches.

Please make use of our national resources and rewarding opportunities for involvement in Virginia.  The American Association of University Women makes a difference.

If you hold an associate’s or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW as an individual (member-at-large) or as a member of one of AAUW’s 1,000 branches. Branch members also belong to the national organization.  JOIN NOW

Branch members join one of the branches across the State of Virginia to carry out grassroots efforts.  To locate a Virginia branch, click here.    Virginia National Members affiliate directly with the State and National Association. Undergraduates or degree-seeking graduates enrolled in full-time or part-time programs can join AAUW at a special low rate and enjoy a range of benefits to help them succeed on campus and after graduation. Choose the Membership Option for you.

College/University (C/U) Members are accredited institutions of higher education. Each member institution selects a representative to link the campus with AAUW and to work with other C/U representatives across the nation. Partner institutions in Virginia are listed here.

Branch Members

To check your membership status and information and to insure that you receive your Virginia Vision as well as other materials from AAUW,  your mailing and email addresses need to be kept current. 
To change any of personal information, go online to  Member Services Database (MSD) at www.aauw.org..  Once you are in the MSD, your  AAUW Profile can be seen.  You can review and change any of your information by using the “click here” button when you see:  “To make any changes to the information below, click here.”
 
To sign in to Member Service Database (MSD),  you will need your Member Number.  Instructions are available on the “Access Member Services Database” page if you do not know your Member Number.   You will be asked for your password, or  to create a password if this is your first time on Member Services Database.

Members may call the helpline: 800/326-AAUW (2289) and ask for someone from the Membership department to make changes for you.

You many also email connect@aauw.org and provide the information, including your member number,  needed to make changes to your personal profile.
