In an effort to facilitate branch membership applications, AAUW of Virginia is making a generic form available both for Membership Vice Presidents and prospective members. Please click here to print out the form.
If you hold an associate’s or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW as an individual (member-at-large) or as a member of one of AAUW’s 1,000 branches. Branch members also belong to the national organization.
Branch members join one of the branches across the State of Virginia to carry out grassroots efforts. To locate a Virginia branch, click here. For more information, contact the Vice President for Membership.
Virginia National Members affiliate directly with the State and National Association. Please contact the Vice President for Membership.
Branch student affiliates and student affiliates-at-large are undergraduates enrolled in regionally accredited two- or four-year institutions.
College/University (C/U) Members are accredited institutions of higher education. Each member institution selects a representative to link the campus with AAUW and to work with other C/U representatives across the nation. Partner institutions in Virginia are listed here.
